Just a weekend to go. Here for two full weeks now ... Walked back from the BC Place medal ceremony. Managed to get from my assigned level 400 seat to the mosh pit. Was fun to see so many excited Canadians (mostly local) for whom this is it - their shot at standing beside the rings to get their photo taken. So many people having fun - soaking it up - revelling in what just won't last. Passed through security with Ron Wilson tonight. He said he's loving this experience. Like my hex I put on Ovechkin, Datsuk, and Kovulchuk the other night as I walked past them, I said the same thing to Wilson. I think you guys are in real trouble from here on in Ron! He didn't respond. a good day. Lots of pledges - a very good chat with the site manager of McDonalds. Got my first Hungarian pledges too! Cheers to you.
